VVR Consultants and Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. is a company based at Gurgaon, Haryana, and is manned by professionals having wide ranging experience in power sector including power generation, transmission and distribution as well as process and management of EHV/ HVDC projects, water management, environmental management & control and quality control, besides having expertise in handling regulatory issues, contract management and acquisition and merger. VVR Consultants is providing consultancy to power, steel, refinery and civil infrastructure companies. Its expertise is derived largely from the professionals drawn from Government, Central Electricity Authority & PSUs viz. BHEL, NTPC and POWERGRID( a Central Transmission Utility) etc. having experience in handling large complex projects.VVR is having an Advisory Board consisting of eminent experts from various fields, retired. Senior officers from State/Central Govt. and private sector industries.

Power sector in India has expanded at a fast pace post electricity reforms especially after the enactment of the Electricity Act, 2003. The overall installed generation capacity that stood at 105 GW after the end of 9th FY Plan (31.03.2002) has grown almost three fold to 330 GW as on 31.03.2017. There has been corresponding expansion of the transmission and distribution sector. The length of transmission lines which was 181943 MVA+MW on 31.03.2002 has increased to 740765 MVA+MW as on 31.03.2017. India is aiming at increasing its generation capacity to more than 800 GW by the year 2030.

The vast number of power projects in generation has thrown up many operational challenges that need handling by highly experienced personnel. VVR Consultants aim at providing optimal solutions to its clients, throughout the wide canvas of electric generation, transmission, distribution and its usage.
