He also served as Head of regional asset management services of EHV System and as in charge of Corporate Contracts & Materials Management and Corporate QA.

    Mr. K.R. Nagendra Kumar is an Electrical Engineer with over 30 years practical experience of Engineering, Design, Construction of EHV Lines & Sub-Stations/Switchyards.

    Started career with M/S Hindalco Industries-Power Plant Division, and after six years of service, switched over to NTPC - assignment in Operation & Maintenance areas for 27 years. Singrauli - Shift Charge Engineer and Head CHP operation, Unchahar - Head Operation contributing immensely for turnaround, Kahalgaon - Head O &M - improving load factor of 4x210MW units and commissioning of two units of 500MW. In the year 2009, switched over to M/S Jindal Power for six years - three years as O&M Head (4x250MW) and three years as Station Head 4x250 + 4x600MW (commissioning & stabilisation). Also rendered one year service with M/S D.B.Power for performance improvement and streamlining coal logistics to fulfil the coal requirements of 2x600MW units.

    Did B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1980. Superannuated as a General Manager(Engineering), NTPC. Having total 36 years experience. As Group Head in Project Engineering, Electrical Department, headed Switchgear group, Offsite Electricals group including Coal Handling Plant & Ash Handling Plant, Fire Protection System and Systems & Protection group. Was also responsible for electrical design and project management / EPC work of various thermal power plants of different capacities, solar plants etc. being executed by NTPC. Also has about 2 years' experience of plant operation and maintenance as GM, NTPC, Singrauli STPS.

  • Mr.Prakash Kumar

    Graduated from IIT Delhi in Power Generation Technology. Having around 25 years of experience in Engineering, Contracts, Project Management, Project Development, Feasibility Studies, Operation and Maintenance, Project Risk Assessment and Monitoring, Performance Review and Improvement, Technology Evaluation and Selection, Plant Emission Control for thermal and solar plants. Joined as Graduate Trainee in NTPC and worked for 16 years there.

He has vast experience of about 36 years in Design of Power Plant structures for various systems with special flair for Modern Steel Structures, design of steel plant structures, Contracts Management and Project management of Power Plant and Steel Plant projects with major period of working with NTPC and Jindal Power Limited.

    Graduate in Electrical Engineering from REC Kurukshetra, I have work experience over 35 years in Engineering, Design, Project Management and EPC work of gas and coal fired Thermal Power Projects , both Sub critical and Supercritical units of 62.5 / 110 / 210 / 500 / 660 / 800 MW.
